Volleyball Game Preview: Christel House Eagles vs. Lawrence North Wildcats

The Christel House Eagles will face off against the Lawrence North Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lawrence North took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Christel House, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Christel House got the win against Purdue Polytechnic by a conclusive 3-0.

Christel House walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-8, 25-18, 25-19.

Christel House found their leader in sophomore Jeremiah Silva-Nunez, who had six kills and five aces. Those six kills set a new season-high mark for Silva-Nunez. Steven Alvarado was another key player, getting five assists and four aces.

Meanwhile, Lawrence North didn't have quite enough to beat McCutcheon on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Wildcats have struggled against the Mavericks recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Lawrence North took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 27-29, 18-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Lawrence North's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Christel House, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
