Basketball Game Preview: Stevenson Patriots vs. Glenbrook North Spartans

The Stevenson Patriots will take on the Glenbrook North Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Stevenson is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lake Zurich just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Bears by a score of 38-35. The contest was a 18-18 toss-up at halftime, but the Patriots couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Glenbrook North came tearing into Saturday's game with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17 points) and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 53-29 victory. The Spartans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 23 points or more this season.

Glenbrook North has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season. As for Stevenson, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8.
