Jackson County entered their tilt with Loganville on Thursday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Red Devils by a score of 3-1. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win on Tuesday.

Jackson County had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-16.

Holly Ann Keefer paced Jackson County's offense, picking up 21 kills. Keefer got some help from Avery Hughes and her 21 assists. Keefer was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Loganville's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Taylor Higgins, who had nine digs and one assist, and Addison Warnack, who had six kills and one block. Ava Joyce also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Jackson County's victory bumped their record up to 31-7. As for Loganville, their loss dropped their record down to 29-18.

Jackson County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Glynn Academy on the 15th. As for Loganville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Lakeside on the 15th.
