The Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions will head out on the road to challenge the Lafayette Christian Cougars at 5:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Holy Ground Baptist Academy never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Oaks last Tuesday. Everything went their way against the The Mighty Oaks as they made off with a 57-31 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Holy Ground Baptist Academy as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Lafayette Christian entered their tilt with CrossPointe Christian Academy with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lafayette Christian blew past CrossPointe Christian Academy, posting a 82-39 victory on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Lafayette Christian has posted yet this season.

It was another big night for Bruno Tellez, who scored 32 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Joshua Zapata, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Holy Ground Baptist Academy now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Lafayette Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Holy Ground Baptist Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Lafayette Christian in their previous matchup back in December of 2018, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Holy Ground Baptist Academy since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
