Preview: Rogers vs. Lewis & Clark
If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Lewis & Clark. They will take on Rogers at home at 5:00 PM on Friday. Lewis & Clark are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Rogers are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses.
Lewis & Clark took their contest against Ferris last Friday by a conclusive 35-14 score.
Meanwhile, the last time they encountered one another, University outplayed Rogers 0-33. This time around? Get ready for this: Rogers ended up on the wrong side of a painful 0-33 walloping at University's hands. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because Rogers and University finished with exactly the same score the last time they met.
Lewis & Clark's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Rogers's loss dropped them down to 0-5. We'll see if Lewis & Clark's success rolls on or if Rogers are able to steal their positive momentum.
