Volleyball Game Preview: Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans vs. Doherty Spartans

The Fountain-Fort Carson Trojans will square off against the Doherty Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fountain-Fort Carson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

Fountain-Fort Carson not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on Liberty with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Fountain-Fort Carson walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-17, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Doherty came up short against Pueblo West on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Fountain-Fort Carson's victory bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Doherty, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season.
