Baseball Recap: Marysville Takes a Loss

Marysville fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Hilliard Darby on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 4-3. The Monarchs' loss continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Marysville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Hilliard Darby, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9.

Hilliard Darby didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 loss against Olentangy Berlin on the 13th. Hopefully Marysville paid attention to the Panthers' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
