Upper Arlington is 0-10 against Olentangy Liberty since September of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Golden Bears will host the Patriots at 6:45 p.m. Upper Arlington will be strutting in after a victory while Olentangy Liberty will be coming in after a loss.
If Hilliard Bradley wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Upper Arlington, they should've done a better job of containing Asha Chaudhari. The Golden Bears sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Jaguars on Thursday thanks in part to Chaudhari, who had 14 digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.
Upper Arlington got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 18-25, 25-16, 25-23, 28-30, 15-9.

Upper Arlington relied on the efforts of Katie Sexton, who had nine digs and two aces, and Roxy Rigo, who had 11 kills, 11 aces, and three digs. Those 11 aces gave Rigo a new career-high. Ellie Ness also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.
They weren't the only good servers: Upper Arlington was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Olentangy Liberty lost 3-0 to Northview on Saturday.
Olentangy Liberty was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 25-20.
Olentangy Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Upper Arlington, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
