Softball Recap: Cashton Comes Up Short

Cashton lost against Seneca back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles fell just short of the Indians by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Cashton and nudges their season record down to 15-9-1. Even worse, they were so close both times: the defeats came by an average of only one runs. As for Seneca, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Cashton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-9 win against Bangor on the 19th. As for Seneca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-2 victory against Weston on the 19th.
