16 must be Munford's lucky number: they beat Briarcrest Christian with that score not once but twice on Tuesday. The Cougars didn't even let the Saints on the board, marking the Cougars' second-straight 16-0 shutout. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

Brooke Levine looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Gracie Williams was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Ellie Kate Billings was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

The victory made it two in a row for Munford and bumps their season record up to 14-11-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Briarcrest Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-21.

Coming up, Munford will challenge Craigmont at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars are facing the Chiefs at the right time seeing as the Chiefs are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Briarcrest Christian, they will square off against St. Benedict at Auburndale at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
