Soccer Game Preview: Auburndale vs. Cypress Creek

The Auburndale Bloodhounds will venture away from home to face off against the Cypress Creek Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Auburndale is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Lecanto onto the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, Cypress Creek had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Wildcats 4-0. It was an even better day for Avery Blevins as she scored three goals for her team.

Cypress Creek has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 62 goals over those 11 matchups. As for Auburndale, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.
