Volleyball Recap: Smyrna Comes Up Short

Smyrna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cape Henlopen Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 two weeks ago.

Smyrna's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Cape Henlopen, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Smyrna didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Dover on the 2nd. As for Cape Henlopen, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Tatnall on the 2nd.
