Volleyball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison's tournament run continued when they took on River Valley on Saturday. The Vikings fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Edison sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-22, 21-25, 15-7.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for River Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Monterey Trail on the 29th. As for River Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Ripon Christian on the 29th.
