Chesapeake waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Annapolis Panthers get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Cougars, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Chesapeake's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Annapolis, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Chesapeake is set to square off against their familiar foe South River at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Annapolis will challenge rival Glen Burnie at 4:45 p.m. on Monday.
