Evanston has gone 8-2 against Glenbrook North recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Evanston Wildkits will welcome the Glenbrook North Spartans at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, Evanston took a blow against Prospect, falling 61-33. While losing is never fun, the Wildkits can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 289th, while the Knights are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Glenbrook North). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Deerfield 71-33. The win was nothing new for the Spartans as they're now sitting on seven straight.

Glenbrook North has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Evanston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Evanston didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Glenbrook North in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 44-38 victory. Will Evanston repeat their success, or does Glenbrook North have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
