Softball Game Preview: Waterville Shockers vs. Cascade Kodiaks

The Waterville Shockers will challenge the Cascade Kodiaks at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Waterville's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Cascade has been banged up by 13 consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.

On Saturday, Waterville got the win against Oroville by a conclusive 18-5. The result was nothing new for the Shockers, who have now won seven matches by ten runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Cascade lost 14-4 to Chelan on Tuesday.

Cascade's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Waterville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.

Waterville took their win against Cascade in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 16-6 score. Do the Shockers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Kodiaks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
