Volleyball Recap: Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Random Lake on Tuesday, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah came back down to earth. The Resorters lost 3-0 to the Manitowoc Lutheran Lancers on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Resorters in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13, 25-13.

Marlo Saeger paced Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's offense, picking up three kills. Saeger got some help from Trista Hassinger and her six assists. Finally, Taylor Mersberger kept Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Coming up, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah will square off against Sheboygan Falls at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Manitowoc Lutheran, they will be taking part in a tournament against Pulaski at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
