For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fort Defiance and Wilson Memorial meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Green Hornets 7-5. For the Indians, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Green Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Fort Defiance now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Wilson Memorial, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fort Defiance will challenge Waynesboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wilson Memorial, they will take on Turner Ashby at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
