Donavan Tanouye leads a balanced attack to beat Harman

Recap: Paw Paw Pirates vs. Harman Panthers

The Paw Paw Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 67-43 margin over Harman. With Paw Paw ahead 36-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Paw Paw to victory, but perhaps none more so than Donavan Tanouye, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds. The contest was Tanouye's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Greyson Corbett, who scored 21 points.

Paw Paw's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Harman, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paw Paw will take on Calvary Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Calvary Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 223rd in Maryland, while Paw Paw is ranked 70th in West Virginia). As for Harman, they will head out on the road to face off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
