Basketball Game Preview: Northtown Pumas vs. Josephinum Cougars

The Northtown Pumas will square off against the Josephinum Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Northtown and 11 for Josephinum.

Northtown is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Chicago Academy on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Northtown was dealt a 47-15 loss at the hands of Chicago Academy. The Pumas were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-3.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Josephinum duked it out withOur Lady of Tepeyac on Thursday. Josephinum was outmatched by Our Lady of Tepeyac and fell 45-8. That's two games in a row now that the Cougars have lost by exactly 37 points.

Josephinum's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Northtown, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.
