Valley Christian Academy hadn't done well against Coast Union recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 21-6 margin over the Broncos. Considering the Lions have won three matches by more than 14 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Valley Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 3-6. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 24.0 runs over those games. As for Coast Union, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-6.

Coast Union has already played their next game, a 20-15 loss against Morro Bay on the 11th. Hopefully Valley Christian Academy payed attention to the Broncos' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Broncos at 3:30 p.m. on the 29th.
