Recap: Brookwood Warriors vs. Chiles Timberwolves
The Brookwood Warriors put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 41-28 win over Chiles. This was payback for Brookwood, who suffered a 34-23 loss the last time these two teams met.
Brookwood's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kayla Lewis led the charge by scoring 7 points along with 10 rebounds. Abigail Squires was another key contributor, scoring 7 points along with 5 steals.
Brookwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Chiles, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Brookwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Georgia Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Georgia Christian will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 204th, while Brookwood is ranked 67th). As for Chiles, they will head out on the road to face off against Munroe at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
