It was a good run, but Warren unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Monticello Billies by a score of 2-1. Warren were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Monticello apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Warren's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1-1 and their overall record down to 10-2-1. As for Monticello, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2-1 record this season.

Warren does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Monticello, they will challenge Magnolia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
