Volleyball Recap: Johns Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Johns Creek lost against Milton back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gladiators fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 3-2. While the Gladiators didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 25-17 in the first set.

Johns Creek started the match hot and won the first two sets, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 20-25, 25-21, 25-21, 15-7.

Sara Buoni paced Johns Creek's offense, picking up 16 kills. Buoni got some help from Adonia Haile and her 22 assists. Haile was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Johns Creek and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Milton, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Johns Creek will welcome Buford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Milton, they will venture away from home to square off against Chamblee at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
