Union Grove Christian got themselves on the board against Scotland Christian Academy on Monday, but Scotland Christian Academy never followed suit. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the Saints. The win was nothing new for the Patriots as they're now sitting on four straight.

Morgan Donovant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Faith Hege was excellent, scoring three runs while going 1-for-2. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Isabella Lott was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Union Grove Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .654. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Scotland Christian Academy only posted an OBP of .056.

Union Grove Christian pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Scotland Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 1-1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Grove Christian will square off against Salem Baptist Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Scotland Christian Academy, they will face off against Northwood Temple Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
