Volleyball Game Preview: Union City Bears vs. Fairview Tigers

The Union City Bears will challenge the Fairview Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Thursday, Union City came up short against Seneca and fell 3-1.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fairview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Cathedral Prep on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 4th.

Fairview was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (102-99), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 16-25, 25-22, 25-18, 15-12.

Fairview has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Union City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-3 record this season.
