Basketball Recap: Cair Paravel Comes Up Short

Cair Paravel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 30-28 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Franklin Falcons.

Cair Paravel's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for West Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cair Paravel will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mission Valley at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. As for West Franklin, they will take on Wabaunsee on Saturday.
