Baseball Recap: Camelback Triumphs

Camelback's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the North Mustangs 11-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Nathan Morgan was a major factor no matter where he played. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Morgan was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jaime Reyna, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Camelback always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North only posted an OBP of .435.

Camelback's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
