Burton is 8-2 against Snook since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. Burton's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Snook's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Burton will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Milano on Friday. The Panthers walked away with a 10-7 win over the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Snook might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Iola who claimed the real prize. The Bluejays fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 10-9. While the Bluejays didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 4-0 in the first period.

Aubrey Becker was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and eight unearned) runs off five hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-5.

In other batting news, Braynija Pool made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Marissa Batiste, who went 2-for-5 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Burton has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Snook, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-15-1.

Everything went Burton's way against Snook in their previous matchup back in March, as Burton made off with a 10-0 win. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bluejays turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
