Newcastle entered their tilt with Moorcroft on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They claimed a resounding 46-6 win over the Wolves. The Dogies' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Newcastle to victory, but perhaps none more so than Teddy Troftgruben, who rushed for 69 yards on only seven carries, and also threw for 96 yards and two touchdowns on only six passes. Dane Crabtree was Troftgruben's top target, picking up 50 receiving yards and one TD, while also rushing for 47 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Newcastle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 219 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in three consecutive matchups.

Newcastle's record now sits at 4-2. As for Moorcroft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.
