Volleyball Recap: Cotopaxi Victorious

Cotopaxi won the last time they faced Ridgway and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pirates came out on top against the Demons by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pirates.

Cotopaxi found their leader in freshman Sophie Eggleston, who had 19 assists and 13 digs.

Cotopaxi now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ridgway, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cotopaxi will take on Florence at 4:00 p.m. on September 2. As for Ridgway, they will square off against Ouray at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
