Basketball Recap: Dalhart Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dalhart can now relate to. They took a 44-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jim Ned Indians on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Indians are ranked 33rd).

Dalhart's loss dropped their record down to 30-7. As for Jim Ned, they pushed their record up to 34-2 with the victory, which was their 25th straight at home dating back to last season.

Dalhart does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jim Ned, they will take on Winnsboro on Monday. Winnsboro will roll in looking for their 14th straight win, something Jim Ned surely won't give up without a fight.
