It's playoff time, and Millry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Fruitdale Pirates by a score of 11-7 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Pirates on April 8th, they had to take a 15-14 loss.
Scarlett Kirkland spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Lilly Doggette, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs.
