Basketball Game Preview: Front Range Baptist Falcons vs. Briggsdale Falcons

Front Range Baptist is 0-7 against Briggsdale since February of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Front Range Baptist Falcons just played last yesterday, but they'll still welcome the Briggsdale Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Front Range Baptist is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Monday. They fell 38-29 to Front Range Christian.

Meanwhile, after a string of 13 wins dating back to last season, Briggsdale's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Hi-Plains. The loss was the Falcons' first of the season.

Front Range Baptist will need focus on slowing down Kayl Klem, one of several Briggsdale players who made an impact when they last played. She went 6 of 15 on her way to 13 points along with eight boards and seven steals. That's the most steals Klem has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Brown, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Front Range Baptist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Briggsdale, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Front Range Baptist was taken down by Briggsdale 69-27 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Front Range Baptist was down 42-14.
