Basketball Recap: Lansdowne Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lansdowne can now relate to. They came up short against the Franklin Indians on Friday, falling 70-45. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 231st, while the Indians are ranked 100th).

Lansdowne has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-13 record this season. Franklin's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

As of now, neither Lansdowne nor Franklin have any future games scheduled.
