Soccer Game Preview: Roosevelt vs. Bell

Roosevelt hasn't had much luck against Bell recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Roosevelt Rough Riders will host the Bell Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Roosevelt will be strutting in after a victory while Bell will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Roosevelt turned things around against Huntington Park on Friday. They never let the Spartans onto the board and left with a 2-0 win.

Diego Carmona and Christopher Salas scored both of Roosevelt's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Meanwhile, Bell has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 6. They fell just short of South Gate by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Bell now has a losing record at 4-5-2. As for Roosevelt, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-7-1.
