Abingdon has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.56 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Monday. They came out on top against the Central Wise Warriors by a score of 14-10. Winning may never get old, but the Falcons sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Abingdon pushed their record up to 16-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.4 runs over those games. As for Central Wise, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Abingdon will face off against Gate City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.58 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of.
