Softball Recap: Baldwin Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Baldwin's offense. They came up short against the William Penn Charter Quakers on Monday, falling 10-0. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Bears' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Baldwin has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season. As for William Penn Charter, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Baldwin is set to challenge their familiar foe Academy-Notre Dame De Namur at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, William Penn Charter will square off against rival Germantown Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
