Patrick Henry and Eastlake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Patrick Henry had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 4-3. The Patriots' loss signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Jimmy Gunn was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Patrick Henry saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Cappelletti, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Preston Conklin was another, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base.

Patrick Henry's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9-2. As for Eastlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-9-1.
