Softball Recap: East Bay Indians vs. Lennard Longhorns
East Bay won the last time they faced Lennard and things went their way on Thursday too. East Bay put the hurt on Lennard with a sharp 13-5 win. Considering the Indians have won four matchups by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Jensen Nelson made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kamiira Austin, who scored four runs and stole five bases while going 1-for-3. Those five stolen bases gave her a new career-high.
