Soccer Recap: Research Triangle Takes a Loss

Research Triangle's game on Wednesday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Falls Lake Firebirds by a score of 4-3. Avery Hardister probably wasn't too happy after the matchup: she scored every single goal for Research Triangle and still walked away on the losing team.

Research Triangle dropped their record down to 3-12-1 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Falls Lake, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-7.

While Research Triangle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
