Softball Recap: Creekview Takes a Loss

Creekview fell victim to Wakeland and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Wolverines, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost six in a row.

Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Wakeland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Creekview will take on rival The Colony at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wakeland is set to square off against their familiar foe Lone Star at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolverines 2.8, the Rangers 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
