Basketball Recap: Alonso Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Alonso had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-5 to make it six. They were beaten by the East Lake Eagles 71-41. The Ravens were down 58-31 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

As for East Lake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.5 points over those games.

Jordan Bryant was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Andre Willis, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 15 points.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alonso will welcome Newsome at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Lake, they will be playing at home against Northeast at 8:00 p.m. on December 3.
