Eagleville came tearing into Friday's game with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 20 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Eagleville pushed their record up to 25-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 28-7.
