Baseball Recap: New Summerfield Comes Up Short

New Summerfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-1 to the Mt. Enterprise Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 back in March.

New Summerfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Mt. Enterprise, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5-2 record this season.

While New Summerfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
