The Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against Palmetto Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics was able to grind out a solid victory over the Knights, taking the game 39-28. Given Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics' advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 120th, while the Knights are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Kiara Weaver and Rylan Dundon were among the main playmakers for Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics as the former scored eight points and the latter scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Palmetto Christian Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past Thomas Sumter Academy 73-36 at home. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Palmetto Christian Academy had established a 31 point advantage.
Lowcountry Wildcats Athletics is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Palmetto Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
