Volleyball Game Preview: Southwest Guilford Cowboys vs. Glenn Bobcats

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys are headed away from home for the first time to square off against the Glenn Bobcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Glenn took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Southwest Guilford, who comes in off a win.

Southwest Guilford is headed out to face Glenn after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Cowboys skirted past R.J. Reynolds 3-2.

Southwest Guilford wouldn't go down easily and took R.J. Reynolds into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-15, 19-25, 25-23, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Northern Guilford.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-15, 20-25, 25-14.
