Eastern Alamance is a perfect 6-0 against Cummings since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Friday, Eastern Alamance came up short against Southern Alamance and fell 28-15. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Patriots recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Eastern Alamance saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Devontia Clark picked up 49 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 57 points the game before, Cummings was a bit more limited in their contest last Friday. They had to suffer through a 48-8 loss at the hands of Southeast Alamance. The Cavaliers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.

Eastern Alamance now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Cummings, they now also have a losing record of 2-3.

Everything came up roses for Eastern Alamance against Cummings in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, as the team secured a 33-6 win. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Cavaliers' Jonathan Paylor, who rushed for 87 yards, and also picked up 87 receiving yards.
