Natrona County hasn't had much luck against Laramie recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Natrona County Mustangs' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Laramie Plainsmen at 4:30 p.m.

Natrona County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Star Valley, who was ranked 13th in their home state at the time (Natrona County was ranked 22nd). Natrona County came up short against Star Valley on Saturday, falling 3-0.

Laramie was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 11 consecutive matchups.

Natrona County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Laramie, their victory bumped their record up to 30-1.
