Basketball Recap: Todd County Takes a Loss

Todd County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Custer Wildcats and fell 46-18. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Todd County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Custer, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Todd County will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mahpiya Luta at 5:00 p.m. on December 30th. After both having extra time off, Custer and Sioux Valley will dust off their jerseys to face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
